CINIUU Held an Award Ceremony For the Loong Year Poster Contest

On February 23, the Confucius Institute for Northern Ireland at Ulster University (CINIUU) held the award ceremony of the Year of the Dragon Poster Competition. The competition received a total number of 5,582 entries that were reviewed by Janet Coulter, the dean of Art School at Ulster University (UU), Jonathan Stewart, the Director of British Council in Northern Ireland and more than 60 Principles from local primary and secondary schools. Finally, 32 winning works were selected. At the ceremony, the winners were rewarded by Ryan Murphy, the Mayor of Belfast and Cathy Gormley-Heenan, the Vice Chancellor of UU. Representatives of teachers and students performed song chorus, Beijing Opera, Sichuan Opera face change, etc. More than 300 people participated in the event, including Dr. Liu Yan, Director of CINIUU, and Dr. LiuXingchi, Co-Director of CINIUU, as well as teachers and students from various teaching sites under CINIUU.
