Programme 1 Economics
Training objectives
This programme aims to cultivate special talents with a solid theoretical foundation of Marxist economics, good knowledge of modern Western economic theory, and the ability to use methods of modern economic analysis to analyze Socio-economic issues. The students will acquire strong abilities in learning, research, innovation and expanding and penetrating into economics-related fields. They will be able to engage in economic analysis, forecasting, planning and management in government economic administrations, policy research institutes, financial agencies and enterprises.
Training requirements
Graduates of this programme should:
(1) be familiar with the economic policies and regulations of the Party and the country, and understand the actual situation of China's economic system reform and economic development;
(2) master systematically basic theories and knowledge of economics;
(3) master the basic theories and analytical methods of Marxist economics and contemporary western economics;
(4) have the ability to use quantitative analysis methods and modern economic analysis methods for socio-economic surveys, economic analysis, and actual operations;

Programme 2 International Economy and Trade
Training objectives
This programme aims to cultivate international and interdisciplinary professionals with solid foundation, strong practical ability, high comprehensive quality, innovative spirit and entrepreneurial ability, who can adapt to the new environment of foreign trade development and the needs of local economic development. They will work in such fields as foreign trade business, customs declaration and inspection, trade settlement, economic analysis, and management.
Training requirements
Graduates of this major should:
(1) master the basic principles of economics and the basic theories and knowledge of contemporary international economy and trade;
(2) be familiar with relevant policies and regulations of international economy and the prevailing rules and practices of international trade and investment;
(3) be able to independently complete documents making, import and export declaration and inspection, settlement and other work related to foreign trade business operation, and have strong international business operation and management skills;
(4) have the basic ability to engage in scientific research, can find and analyze major problems in international economy and trade, and propose solutions;
(5) have strong abilities in English listening and speaking, and reading English literature and business documents, master writing methods and skills of English business correspondence and reports, and have certain ability in business translation;
(6) have strong ability of data query, literature retrieval, writing and modern information technology to obtain information;

Training objectives

Training objectives
This programme cultivates the application-oriented talents who master basic theories of Marxist law, who have firm belief in the rule of law, solid professional knowledge of law and strong legal practice skills, who are familiar with the current laws and policies of China, and who can engage in legal work in all kinds of organizations at all levels, especially in the grass-roots organizations..
Training requirements
Graduates of this major should:
(1) systematically master the basic principles and knowledge of law, understand the frontier theoretical trends of this discipline and professional field, systematically master the discipline system and main knowledge of different legal professional courses, and have a high legal theoretical literacy;
(2) be familiar with current Chinese laws and relevant policies, develop legal method of thinking and behavior, and have strong ability to analyze and solve practical problems by using legal theories and legal knowledge;
